The Siagne canal (accessible in 5 minutes): The Siagne is a river that has its source in the Audibergue massif. The canal begins in Saint-Cézaire and ends in Mougins. It is 45 km long but only a few sections are open to the public. You can find the bets you can borrow by clicking on this link.

Less than 30 minutes by car
Visit of the Domaine du Mas de l'Olivine : Our favorite in Peymeinade. As a flower grower and confectioner, it is from them that we like to buy small welcome gifts. As a couple, they work with natural products, Mr. cultivates, Mrs. creates recipes for confectionery, jams and other products. Remember to tell them that you are coming from us!
Guided tour of the Moulin de l'Huilerie Saint-Anne and its tasting: Our favorite in Grasse. An oil mill since 1706, we only recently discovered it (shame on us!) and since then we have been sourcing olive oil from them. Their grocery store makes you want to taste everything... Gluttony is a defect that can be tamed. Also remember to tell them that you are coming from us!
Admire the panorama from the village of Cabris, located just above Peymeinade. Cabris, whose name comes from the Latin capra "goat", is one of those beautiful hilltop villages of which the Côte d'Azur has the secret. It is from the esplanade of the feudal castle, the Place Mirabeau, that the spectacular view of the Mediterranean is spectacular.
Saint-Cézaire Cave (open from February to mid-November) - 15 min drive: a must-see place for lovers, family or friends! You can not only visit the cave but also walk in the park, do tree climbing, etc. If you take your picnic, you can spend the day there!
Cave of Beaume Obscure: different atmosphere from the previous one, a lot of light and shadow. For all audiences as well.
Lac de Saint-Cassien: a leisure centre where you can walk along the banks, rest or do some water activities.
The following 2 walks are fully explained in the paper leaflets entitled "Hiking trails from Peymeinade". These are placed in the tourist documentation binder. In order to avoid wasting paper, we kindly ask you to take a picture of the leaflet you are interested in and then put it back in the binder please.
Number 4: Candéou Forest, medium route lasting 2 to 3 hours. Start and finish: Avenue de Peygros
Number 5: The forest of Peygros, medium route lasting 1h30 to 2h. Departure: Avenue de Peygros
The gliders of the Fayence region: If you want to discover the beauty of the surrounding landscapes in an original and fun way, come and try a glider flight! During a flight of about 30 minutes you will discover the pleasure of gliding over the magnificent Pays de Fayence: at your feet Fayence, Tourrettes, Callian, Seillan, Mons !!
A little further
On the Var side:
Walk of the oppidum of Bagnols-en-Forêt: Hike listed as easy on Viso-rando, which I would rather rate in AVERAGE because there is elevation gain and stony path, not always easy. 7 km for about 2h30 of walk. Very beautiful viewpoints+++, plan a picnic to fully enjoy the view.
Gourbachin Waterfall: easy 900m micro-walk to cool off at the foot of the waterfall.
In the Alpes Maritimes:
Saut du Loup waterfall: A cool corner in the hinterland of Grasse. It is not a walk strictly speaking because access is immediate but there is a fee, 1€ for the entrance.
Pic de Courmettes: This 5.65 km hike, of medium difficulty, starting from the Domaine des Courmettes, will take you to one of the main 360° viewpoints between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mercantour mountains.
The banks of the Siagne in Mandelieu: To take full advantage of it, park in the car park located near the intersection between the Avenue de la Mer and the Route de la Pinéa (near the old establishment called Robinson, still referenced on google); then follow the Siagne to the Pullman Hotel on the other side of the bridge. You can even walk around the hotel and enjoy the Fon Marina beach, hidden behind it. The walk can continue along the until you return to the departmental road; then back to the car by the banks of the Siagne.
NB: If you have children, you can take them to let off steam in the parks of Mandelieu accessible on foot from the indicated car park (min walk one way). There are 2 separate parks: Camille's garden and a few hundred meters away, Alexia's garden. The latter is also accessible from Avenue Marcel Pagnol (you still have to find a place!). The easiest way is to stay in the car park indicated above and make the journey on foot.
